Furthermore, premium hiking paths called the “dream trails” and premium scenic walking paths called “little dream trails” offer a close-to-nature experience, providing a limitless, premium-quality experience to recreational hikers. In an interplay of adventurous steep slopes, narrow trails and even spectacular panoramas and views, these “dream trails” provide an extensive offering of full-day and half-day tours, while the “little dream trails” shine thanks to their experiences in the smallest of spaces that closely follow each other. These “little dream trails” seize on the trend of scenic walking, and both the “dream trails” and “little dream trails” promise premium circular trails and safety as well. Losing one’s way is virtually impossible thanks to the signs, and the success of the hiking paths is reflected in the number of visitors every year. But walking is not the only way to explore the vineyards and volcanic landscapes of the Rhine-Mosel-Eifel vacation region. A nearly 270 km-long cycle path network is available for an active vacation in addition to dreamy hiking.

Countryside memorials, authentic volcanoes and quarries allow you to experience the region’s history up close and personal, and even the eruption of the cold-water geyser never ceases to amaze visitors. The volcano park also provides fun on rainy days. In the Terra Vulcania adventure museum, you can experience the basalt exploitation’s 7000-year history live. Using modern participatory displays, the feel of the efforts and hazards from that time can be conveyed, and the past vividly comes to life again.
