Regional promotion

The district of Mayen-Koblenz is part of the support area in the state support program "Strengthening structurally weak regions" (REGIO). As part of the regional economic development programs, the state of Rhineland-Palatinate supports companies' investment projects via the Investitions- und Strukturbank Rheinland-Pfalz (ISB). Support is provided for investments (new assets) in fixed assets (construction costs, machinery/facilities) and certain intangible assets used by the company itself or for commercial purposes.

Investment projects that are carried out within the maximum possible investment period of 36 months are eligible. Funding is provided as a (non-repayable) investment grant in the amount of the corresponding maximum funding rate. Depending on the size of the company, the grant can amount to between 10% and 20% of the eligible costs. Funding is conditional on the safeguarding of existing jobs and the creation of new permanent jobs.

Der Förderantrag muss vor Investitionsbeginn bei der ISB eingetragen sein. Eine Antragsstellung ist ab dem 15.08.2025 über der Portal der ISB möglich.
