Personnel development

Strengthening competitiveness through qualified specialists

Human resources development and regional economic development are closely linked. Companies can strengthen their competitiveness through targeted personnel development, such as further training and qualification of skilled workers.

Well-trained personnel are a key factor for innovation and growth, which in turn promotes the regional economy as a whole. The WFG supports companies in this by working with them to identify tailored support programs or by sharing experiences within a large network, such as the Mayen-Koblenz Skilled Workers Alliance. These synergies lead to a sustainable strengthening of the regional economy and contribute to the creation and safeguarding of jobs in the district of Mayen-Koblenz.

As a company or organization, you want to train your employees to make them fit for the demands of a changing world of work. This keeps your employees up to date in their professional fields and enables them to support the operational transformation. The following questions may still be unanswered:

  • What qualifications and skills will my employees need in the coming years?
  • What suitable providers and offers are there to train my employees?
  • How can I implement comprehensive further training activities in my company in organizational terms?

We will be happy to help you answer these questions, please contact us.

The Federal Employment Agency offers interesting instruments for personnel development [e.g. via the Qualification Opportunities Act]. This can cover the costs of training courses as well as the wage costs for the percentage of the employee's absence from the company.
