Consulting support

We advise.

The "Promotion of Business Consultancy for SMEs" program is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and the European Social Fund Plus.

SMEs are the backbone of the German economy. Companies have to face a wide range of challenges in order to maintain or improve their performance and competitiveness. Currently, there are also particular challenges due to general economic developments and changes resulting from demographic, digital and ecological change. A subsidy towards the cost of a consultancy measure is intended to make it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises and members of the liberal professions to seek external advice.

The "Promotion of business consulting for SMEs" is aimed at

  • Micro-enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the commercial sector and
  • Members of the liberal professions

In each case with registered office and business operations or a branch office in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Funding is provided for conceptual and individual consultations on all economic, financial, personnel and organizational issues relating to company management. The funding program also supports the cross-sectoral principles of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) on gender equality, equal opportunities and non-discrimination as well as environmental sustainability. The respective management consultations must be carried out as individual consultations. Consultations may not exceed a duration of five days. Seminars and workshops are not funded.

How much is the subsidy?
