Skilled workers alliance

Strong together for the future

Demographic change is increasingly showing its consequences. The shortage of skilled workers is on everyone's lips and is also making itself felt in the district of Mayen-Koblenz. To address the consequences of these trends and mitigate them for companies, the WFG joined forces with the Koblenz-Mayen Agency, the DGB, the Koblenz Chamber of Crafts, the Koblenz Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Mayen-Koblenz District Job Center, the Mittelrhein District Craftsmen's Association and vem.diearbeitgeber e.V. to launch the Mayen-Koblenz Skilled Workers Alliance in 2014.

The Skilled Workers Alliance supports companies in the district of Mayen-Koblenz in measures to recruit and secure skilled workers with the aim of reducing the operational impact of the shortage of skilled workers.

Topics that are of particular interest to companies in the district of Mayen-Koblenz form the focal points of the Skilled Workers Alliance. These are determined annually as part of the Alliance's Skilled Workers Forum. Based on this data, priorities are then set for the current year. These priorities are then discussed in workshops discussed in detail with companies.

The homepage of the Skilled Workers Alliance with all the workshops offered by the partners of the Skilled Workers Alliance can be found here:
