A positive outcome for the economy and for the region!

The WFG has positive results to show for its efforts, with statistics demonstrating that the region has been doing very well in recent years: falling unemployment, a growing number of socially-insured employees, and gross value added that is increasing faster than that of the city of Koblenz or Rhineland-Palatinate as a whole. Together with the communities, towns and cities in the region, WFG was the force behind the designation of large commercial and industrial estates. Industrial developments all over the district were supported by WFG, showing that the region can offer potential for industrial locations of all types. Sites of all sizes in all locations are available at short notice.

Here's why so many companies decide to locate in Mayen-Koblenz: WFG has successfully assisted many companies over the years to set up in the area, relocate to here or expand their operations.

At present, the special projects "A61/ GVZ Koblenz industrial estate" and the conversion of Mendig airport are the focus of the district's economic development work.
